It is often challenging to find a tailored jacket that suits you when you do not fit into the standard sizing measurements. This project targets young women aged 18-25 with bigger bust sizes and aims to design a fashionable tailored jacket which this niche group would feel emotionally attached to and wear confidently.
This specific female target group with bigger bust was surveyed upon what objects they feel connected to and carry with them regularly, concluding to a perfume bottle as a source of inspiration for colour, print and silhouette design for a draped tailored jacket. User centred designing was in focus, as the target group contributed with their desired jacket style preferences. The most desired result was delivered to them to have a tailored jacket with hidden big pockets to make it functional.
